A:
1. If you are selling at a fair price, ask permission from me first. I would be surprised if you could sell a camera at $200-$300. I would try to keep an even price across the categories.
2. If you are having troubles selling your camera, make it known to me. If it is not a simple thing to sell, I will have to consider it.
3. I do not do this for my own sake. I do it for the other people I take for photos – your friends, family, and the general public
and the people I take pictures with. It is their camera, so I will always work with them in any form so long as it does not affect my work.
4. I am not responsible for anyone else selling a camera. I don’t do this for myself unless they are selling a camera for a personal or commercial purpose like selling gear or getting other people to take photos for their business. If someone is trying to sell their own camera after having the knowledge of me and you, that’s another matter.
5. If you have asked permission to sell a camera, but find it difficult to sell it because of its condition, I would recommend contacting a professional photography sales person at some point.
6. Please be aware that due to the size of this blog there has to be a lot of pictures to be taken and some may not be uploaded on time or at all. That is only part of the business to me.
I enjoy it, but that doesn’t give me extra money. I will be happy to try to upload more quickly at a more reasonable price and/or for less money than I may have otherwise charged.
7. Please do not contact me to ask me to take a photo of a camera you had purchased. I will ask you to take one to help me out with the post.
8. Sometimes I will be happy to take a photo of your camera for you. It was just bought for $20 so $20 was a fair price for them to pay for a used item, and $20 is more than $1/photo. So you will get something back. I will not be taking photos of your camera at a fair price unless you specifically asked, ask before, or if the photo helps show off your own photography.
