For this release, Photoshop is only available monthly in the Creative Cloud subscription plan. It works just as you’d expect — as usual. And you have time to take advantage of the unlimited number of features, features that were always available in the Creative Cloud.
Do I need to purchase Photoshop before I can use it on other devices, on OS X or Windows?
You don’t. Photoshop has always been available for use on OS X and Windows, including on Chromebooks. Photoshop now works on Chromebooks as well, so you will even be able to edit on your laptop without any hassle!
How can you find out whether someone’s looking for Photoshop?
Open the Photoshop extension on a Windows desktop or in a Chrome window. When you hit the Share button in the tool, the extension will tell you which application they’re using.
Have you updated the Photoshop extension on your Chromebooks?
We’ve been making a lot of improvements. This article is not meant to update the latest version of Photoshop — just the latest version on the Chromebooks and OS X.
Can I download Photoshop for Chromebook on any day of the week, including holidays?
In general, yes. If you want to use Photoshop on a particular day or time, you can do that. If you can work on the workday, we recommend starting the Photoshop extension on those days, but if you can’t, we suggest starting it on the weekends or evenings.
I’m not happy with any of the extensions on this page, am I missing something?

Do I still want to use Photoshop with Adobe After Effects?
Yes, if you’d like to use the software for other purposes in Photoshop Pro or Photoshop Elements.
Can I still use Photoshop with Adobe After Effects on my Chromebook?
