I am aware that a vast majority of Mormons are monogamous and happy with their marriages. What this means is that, when it comes to a disagreement or conflict in the relationship, or in the church or the church’s membership, there is nothing wrong with that.
What is not “acceptable”?
The Bible condemns divorce.
Why are Mormons against divorce?
Because God decreed the marriage to end, even though marriage can be changed or renewed.

If we don’t, we’re missing a good chunk of history, culture and history making talent. And that’s okay.
We could focus on people who don’t get as many credit for their contributions and contributions of their gayness as they deserve, including Harvey Milk, Steve Biko and the late Peter Staley who are all incredibly popular and important in our society both for their personal achievement (Biko as mayor of San Francisco in the 1970s) as well as because of their activism.
And that’s not even accounting for actors like Matthew McConaughey or Chris Rock, who are openly gay because of their activism. But let’s not forget that the LGBT community is far larger and a vastly more influential culture than
