We were talking about all the things I had learned from these letters that I had wanted to share with someone but was afraid to ask them directly. I felt like I learned from being an adult, and I learned how to express it in print.
Second, if I could have told these people I wasn’t a flapper dress lady but just a regular old lady with an old-school American accent, they’d probably have thought I was crazy. I think the idea that I was actually a flapper dress lady was like a dream to many of them who’d seen me at a show, thinking that I must have been just another old-fashioned flapper dress woman, because I looked so much like a flapper dress lady. I realized right away that it was true. It was just a mistake.
After the first round of voting for the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Frozen Four Championships, we’re now down to the final four. But before our team of four head to the United States for the 2018 World Championships, the Frozen Four is on the minds of NHL players like Nicklas Backstrom, Patrick Kane, and Erik Karlsson.
