I have always had the thought that accredited (and especially international accredited) schools are the best way to go. They have a reputation for not only teaching the material efficiently but also for having the necessary resources and time to help the student make sure their content is sound and that they’re actually getting value out of it. If you see a school name on your screen, then you can be sure you’re getting something worth the money.

What makes you go to college?
The main drive to be a successful teacher is making something useful with the time you have. If you are going to have a long and happy career, you better take full advantage of it. Many of my colleagues have had kids, and have to make ends meet doing things that most would consider a pain in the ass.
I personally like the intellectual challenge of teaching. I love what I do (except, of course, when it’s not).
What you learn in a college can’t be found at the bottom of the ocean. The experience gives you some insight into how things work.
What kind of school do you want to go to?
My current college is a state school, which I highly recommend. This is a very large and established institution and it costs nothing to attend. The school also has excellent teachers’ support and the curriculum is very demanding.
If you’re thinking of attending one, though , consider the following:
The school is large enough and the teachers are on the same page as the students. They know that not everyone has a great education and that some teachers have the skill set and dedication to help their students succeed. I was not a “good teacher” back in high school, and in college, I have spent a lot of time learning from other really good teachers. I also knew that I didn’t want to do a lot of “student teaching”. Instead, I’d rather spend time on a couple of topics and I’d be on my own to find the topics that really worked for me, rather than constantly jumping between multiple courses.
Another big advantage of attending a state school is that the instructors live in the same area that your classes will be going to. This is a huge bonus for students. At my school, we have an instructor
