“Saffron is a traditional food of India in its northern and eastern part, known in the Indian language as saffron rice. This is a food item that is considered a delicacy and has been consumed by the Indians from pre-historic times to the present,” says Mr. Singh.
But even at this high of a price, saffron rice is a relatively common treat, even among Indians who aren’t particularly fond of their cuisine. It’s not necessarily cheap, and there is that stigma that saffron rice is associated with poverty.

The next generation of the BlackBerry Passport smartphone will carry an improved front-facing camera, a new design, and possibly some new UI tweaks when it’s released in June, sources said to Cnet.
Sources said the Passport was in rough shape as of late, having suffered from serious manufacturing issues and production problems for years. As a result, the Passport’s camera had been pushed back, which is why those images on Cnet were blurry or unusable.
A source said that the next BlackBerry Passport will carry “a very low-resolution front-facing shooter, likely 1.27 megapixels.” That resolution is roughly equivalent to that of the HTC One, and just a hair above that of the 5MP rear camera on the HTC One S. This camera would be used on the first generation Passport — though possibly not the second generation.
Sources also said that this new design will likely be a big improvement and will be “more flexible,” and that will likely take some work to perfect.
On the software front, sources said this version of Passport will probably carry a new look on the home screen and on the keyboard. The source said that the keyboard UI is based on BlackBerry’s familiar BlackBerry-style navigation keyboard and might be tweaked or replaced with another UI. But, the user-customizable keyboard could remain, sources said.
This report comes on the heels of another interesting report from a U.K. publication, stating that Google’s new Android N developer preview will be called Android M, and could include a new BlackBerry 10 interface which may debut in a few months.
In addition to this report though, Cnet sources confirmed that a “BlackBerry 10.1” developer preview was indeed released, but that users will eventually pick from several OS options. This means that this version of the first BlackBerry 10
