How can I remove this invasive plant to be more comfortable?
This is indeed an invasive plant, so no matter how bad it looks when its cut or sprayed, Saffron is not dead easy to remove. It does need to be left growing.
Saffron is extremely difficult to grow and even harder to identify. They have so many varieties, many of which are invasive, that identification is difficult. They are so widespread that not only are they not easy to find, but once caught and removed, the plant is hard to plant again. So it is best to cut, trim, spray and then plant them out.
How do i determine if it is Saffron?
I cannot tell you how to judge that. Any of these seeds can be an invasive plant.

I am from a different country and it is easy for someone I am not familiar with to say that it is Saffron or be confused. It can be identified by the shape or color of the seeds.
If this is an invasive plant, how do I tell if it is bad for the garden?
It may not have been a major problem in our country, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen if I am planting my garden in another country. If Saffron grows along your property, it may be a problem. This often happens after they have colonized a location, so it is best to find a location you can control. Saffron likes moist, wet soil and you should keep it away from roads, sidewalks, swimming pools and other shallow areas.
I love this plant. Is it OK to plant outside my garden when you spray it?
It is not okay when you spray it because it becomes a weed. If you live in an area that is not very lush and you don’t want to spray it, you can get the seed from a friend and plant in a spot that is not overly greasy, is moist and where you can be sure it will never germinate. If it does not grow with you, it is too late to get it. Saffron does not like water and if your soil gets too dry, it can become a difficult plant to handle. Saffron is not aggressive but if it gets too big, they can be a very bothersome plant in gardens.
