Bible verse? It’s a sin and not the Bible. God told us as it was. The Bible teaches us what is right or what is wrong and not what is legal or illegal. If you drink alcohol, you should stop drinking. If you have been drinking, you should go to a church or a rehab. A church or a rehab would be best and would be in your area. Go to a church or a rehab and be there for two years. Alcohol has many consequences. You will lose your job, lose your health, lose your relationships, lose your children and others will leave your life. Alcohol is a sin. This is the Gospel. It is good news and not the gospel. If you still drink, stop it. There are places and institutions for people to go. There are some facilities in your area that can help you be free of drinking. There is another way. Go to the Church. There are many places you can go to meet with an ordained minister or minister’s wife. You will find a place where you can get information about spiritual growth, where you can find a place with a minister, where you can get counseling. A person needs help. In this day and age, a church is like our family. In a church, you might find things that you need such as clothing for the winter, money for the road, money for your wife or you child so they can be happy and go to the places. It is all for a good purpose, God’s will and God loves the church. There is the idea of people coming in and going out. One thing God has done is create a very close relationship with his children so that everyone is close to God but you will find that if you have a problem, they will take care of you and they will pray for you. This is true. If you have a problem in your family you do not have to worry about someone else. God is the greatest caretaker that you can find of your soul. In a church you will find people who help one another in an easy and efficient way. It should be an easy thing for you to come together and try to build up your life. You could find a place with a minister or a minister’s wife in your area. I am not going to get into all of the Bible verses that teach us to be careful of our drinking.
