I don’t think so, in the sense that they were real people or at least people of that sort. But I think they were also in the tradition, more or less, of many old “heroes,” who would have done anything to save the day – and save their people’s lives, and other groups’ as well, who’d suffered under an oppressive regime, who would have gone from village to village trying to save people, who came to avenge the death of a loved one, who would have, if he had the chance, used his new status as king as a way of getting to the truth, to take revenge and change things. And I think that what the Rex story, more than the other stories that we’ve looked at in this area, really exemplifies, is the way that a king’s character becomes so important that that changes when that king does something that’s going to cause chaos and conflict. You want to do the right thing. You want to do the right thing. And the right thing is different even when you’ve never been there. But for one reason or two, you’ve actually been there and you know how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together.
Q: I was just watching that, with the fact that you’ve seen everything and now you’ve been around, and it’s interesting because it’s this thing that’s so difficult to do – I mean that even in movies like “Batman Begins” you knew it was all going to end and it was really just you going along with it, just being patient. It was one of the things that got me into fantasy and fantasy films. I wanted to go into something else and I really enjoy fantasy films. I think that those of us who are fantasy fans, who are fans of fantasy, when we make our choices to either go into this or not do that, we know that our choices are going to have consequences, that our choices aren’t going to be the right ones.
Seth Green: That’s absolutely right. And now we get to find out. (Laughter.) And there’s been a lot of discussions about that sort of thing. And there’s definitely been conversations around that as well. But that’s certainly a good point. It kind of feels like, as I’ve talked about in the book, it’s easier for us because we’re not having to do it as much, like, you have to think about, “Am I going to get caught, are the people with me going to get
