If you want to do it in a non-sexual way, well, do you want to have a man walk by in your underwear? No. Do you want him to walk by in socks? No, you’re not going to have that. In the case of women, the reason that men want to dance the pole is because of the dancing. The more men dance, the more they’re going to be intimidated. That’s all it is — an excuse to feel bad about themselves. The men really only want a pole to show off their breasts and make them feel really good, so they put on their underwear and come and dance. The women just want to feel good. It’s another excuse to feel bad about ourselves.
You say it’s really sad that so many men are attracted to women who are overweight, and women, in turn, become more objectified and less “real” women. But it seems like an unfortunate cycle for women. When women lose weight, their sexuality seems a lot less important. They’re more about appearance, they just don’t feel the same connection. Women lose weight and their sexuality seems to disappear, and they become less sexual. Women may also become more sexual once they become more thin—they lose that connection with the person who’s dancing next to them. Women may also become more sexual after they get older than they were during their skinny years, which might even be a sign that their sexual drive goes down by itself. So, the cycle gets repeated over and over and over.
