How often should you practice pole dancing? – Impulse Studios Pole Dance & Exotic Fitness

This question is often asked by friends who have never experienced it, so we’ve decided to tackle the subject of how often to practice.

First let us consider the nature of dancing, especially at school and college levels. You see, for a lot of people there wasn’t such as thing as formal pole dance. People dance around the same time at every dance; it isn’t like they work a night with everyone at every dance. They may move for one dance, or they may dance for two or three dances. The best dancers don’t work out all the time (this will probably include you), they work the weekends. They move in a relaxed manner and don’t have a rigorous schedule.

This lifestyle comes with its challenges. Most importantly there’s the fact that you’re forced to stay in a certain place. You have to choose a specific location. Your school/college can’t offer you a new place to study. You want to be a successful dancer? You will need to find a dance studio that will have a good floor and a good number of instructors. This means you want to go to dance school in your city, where there are enough dancers to make sure you feel at home during the day.

Another issue with dancing at school and college levels is that there is a strict curfew. Every student has to be home by 7 pm on Monday because dancing in school is not permitted in the classroom. However, your school may allow you to come back before 7 pm, only if you are not already practicing or going to a dance school with friends. In this case, you should leave your gym by 5 and go to your dance studio. Since you need to be home by 7, you may not be able to practice with a friend at other time of night.

Another problem with moving between dances is that the choreographers have more freedom than in a classroom or a studio. For example, at a dance club you know you will be in a certain area but the club doesn’t know which dancers are going to go there. When you go to a club, there is some kind of restriction on your entrance into the dance. You can’t just walk right in to see the show. If there’s another dance in the area that you like, it is not uncommon to go there only if you go to the same dance club as them, so this is another area of restriction on dancing. So there is more freedom in a dance club, but it’s still only the same as at a studio.
