If possible, you want it to be a location you’d be happy to bring your dancers. You should have room for about 50 customers in your pole class, plus whatever your number is on the bill.

The usual home for a pole dance instructor is their own home. Often they rent a room at a hotel or a nearby motel. There are also places that offer a room for rent which you can then call up and arrange to pick it up. Other teachers will usually stay with their students at their home during the day.

A common room rental for pole classes is a hostel. Hostels are private residences and are quite often run by instructors to teach classes in their rooms. Renting a room for a class is usually a little more expensive than renting your own place.

The Bunkhouse
A large room with a shower in it, often has room for five or six people. Most hostels will charge $15/hour for a room. If you want to rent a room on a weekend, expect this to be about $50/night including cleaning.
A friend of mine who runs a gym near the airport rents out a room once during each month. She does a great job of teaching in her home, so that the house seems like a very comfortable place. I usually spend around $80 a week on the rent for a room that is close to the facility. Her room comes complete with a desk, bed, and a few other items that I’ll put in her wardrobe. I keep a small bag of things in my room to keep with when she shows up. She has one of those little metal lockers in the closet that is very easy to access, but it will keep things out of the way when she comes and goes.
