Yes. Can pole dance be a sport? Yes. Is a pole dance instructor a sport? No. If you can’t dance on a pole, can you do a pole dance? No. If a pole dancer does a good job performing and not getting burned or hurt during pole dance, are they a sportsperson? Yes. The bottom line is, pole dancing is a sport. You can compete at the professional level or you can compete on a more advanced level.

A Florida man was taken into custody by authorities after he attempted to set his ex-wife up with a gun during a domestic argument.
James Allen McBeth allegedly got into a bar fight with his then-2-year-old son after he found out his ex-wife was cheating on him. McBeth allegedly got into an argument with his wife and when her husband confronted him, police said, McBeth reached for a gun and fired a gun into the ground in the face of his then-2-year-old.
The child escaped injuries.
McBeth was arrested and taken to jail. But when police attempted to take McBeth into custody, he allegedly threatened to kill himself.
Instead of being taken into custody, officers took him to the hospital for an evaluation, police said. When he was released, McBeth was arrested for reckless conduct and possession of a dangerous weapon.
McBeth, who was not identified, was released on $300 bond. He’s scheduled to appear in court Jan. 17.
This isn’t the first time a woman was accused of attempting to kill herself with a gun. In 2012, a woman in South Dakota was indicted on charges of aggravated domestic battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. In 2009, a Kentucky woman was accused of shooting her boyfriend twice during an argument.
