The simple answer is to make you feel super sexy in order to achieve your desired goal. In general, when we do something sexy like a pole-dancing style or a sexy dance style, we generally feel super sexy in the process. I personally have a hard time saying that anything sexy can’t have some form of sexual energy flowing through it. I think one of the reasons that I know a lot of pole dancers are more sexually confident, particularly females, than the average straight girl, is that even when we’re doing sexy things, we’re still doing something sexy, even if some of us may find it very sexy at times. And all of us have different preferences for sexual energy. When we’re doing something sexy, we’re not doing something that will turn away those parts of ourselves that, at times, may be wanting to be very sexual and not have sex. Our pleasure will always come from doing a thing with a person, so while some pole dancers may be doing something very sexual, I believe that if we can find something that’s a little bit less sex-y in a pole-dancing style than it is in general, we feel less sexually shy. It’s a little less sexy, but it’s still a lot of fun.

What is pole dancing in terms of recovery?

Pole dancing has been incredibly beneficial to my life and not just in terms of recovery, but it’s been an amazing amount of fun!

I used to be a very unhealthy person, so when I went through pole dancing I felt like I had another side to me that wasn’t so negative. My self esteem was a lot better right from the start, and the recovery really came from that. I started noticing things within myself that I didn’t notice before, like I was more able to work with my emotions and really be me more than I was before. It was one of those things that really made my life in general much happier.

And one of the things it did to me was it’s not like when I was on drugs or anything, it really took a toll on my ability to work and really do things that I’ve wanted to do in the past. I started doing things just because I was feeling good about myself and felt like I had something to offer people. When I started doing pole dancing I had this incredible confidence, and that’s something that was lacking for me in my past. But the feeling that I had was definitely much different because I didn’t need drugs
