That would be pretty cool. I have very strong opinions about this but I believe that anyone can learn to play guitar. It’s up to your own skill level.
What are some songs you’re most excited to play?
Probably “My Favorite Things,” “Merry Widow,” and “Goodbye.” These are my favorites of my record collection.
Have you ever heard of any other bands like the Velvet Underground?
No, I’ve never heard of that band or anything like that. But I’ve heard of some bands, like The Byrds, who could certainly use some help.
Has “Dance” ever been used?
I’ve heard of “Dance” being used, so that’s something I’d be interested in seeing happening.
What are your favorite food and drink items to eat?
I like to try new things in all different types of foods. It’s hard to stick to a few food categories, but I do try to look at different foods a couple of times per year to try to see some of the different ingredients that could go into a dish.
How do you find the time to practice?
I think the hardest part about my schedule is that I have to get up at 7:15-7:30 for every practice and then I can’t practice till after I get home from work. I think that’s a pretty long time.
If you could be anything, what would it be?
Just to try out different jobs outside of music. I love helping my friends with projects like organizing garage sales. My current plan is to eventually do a bit of art work or fashion design.
What has been the most memorable concert experience of your life?
My mom’s funeral. She died before I was born and I came to see her funeral last year. It was pretty emotional for me. My family was the first ones to arrive and it was nice that they were able to take the time to show me around. It was just really amazing.
Would you ever give up playing music if you didn’t have to keep touring?
I really like writing songs and I’m able to perform them. When I don’t have to go on tour I like to write for myself. If it had the choice I wouldn’t do it. When I need to do it, I do it.
